Moderat are Modeselektor’s Gerntot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary and Apparat aka Sascha Ring. We saw them at NYC’s Terminal 5 on April 19, 2017, with supporting techno genius, Vatican Shadow. Moderat played an exhilarating set replete with electrifying 3-D lighting. Breathtaking! Unfortunately, they were thwarted for a short period by sound difficulties (stuff happens), but carried on with things. This was the second time we have seen Moderat and they were equally amazing. Moderat’s live cd, “Live” came out last year, along with studio album III. Standout tracks “Bad Kingdom”, “Damage Done”.
